In-Home Therapy
Promote Independence & Self Care
Equipping families for success where it matters most.
At Carolina Therapeutics, we are committed to helping clients and their families when and where we’re most needed – and oftentimes that’s at home.
When you engage our team to provide In-Home Therapy, you gain the support of licensed, trained, professional clinicians who will provide:
- Direct therapeutic services
- Coaching
- Home exercise plans
- Adaptive equipment recommendations
- Caregiver education
- Natural learning environment practices
We believe practicing daily living skills in a client’s home environment bolsters functional outcomes, boosts confidence, and inspires a greater degree of independence.
Let our providers custom-create a culturally relevant, ethical, and evidence-based program for you or your loved one. We’re in this together.
We currently provide in-home therapy services within the greater Charlotte, NC area including Rock Hill, Fort Mill, Matthews, Pineville, Indian Land, and Huntersville and surrounding areas. Our dedicated clinicians also offer in-home speech therapy in Asheville, NC, in-home ABA Therapy in Greenville, SC, in-home speech therapy in Johnson City, TN, and ABA, speech, and occupational therapy in the Outer Banks, NC.
Individualized Family Service Plans
We use two therapeutic instruction models to effectively support families with an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP):
Natural Learning Environment Practices
A child’s natural learning environment is anywhere the family spends time together learning and playing. This includes the child’s home, backyard, neighborhood, day-care or school, or the local library, park or museum.
Setting goals and facilitating developmental milestones with a natural framework helps children acquire the skills they need to become independent and succeed.
Coaching
Coaching utilizes planning, reflective questions, and feedback to promote self-advocacy, parent involvement, and carryover of skills into a child’s daily routines, such as:
- Play time
- Meal times
- Bath time
- Transitions between activities
- Transitions between locations
These techniques are effective with children ages birth to 3 and above. With older children, we also incorporate more traditional forms of therapeutic service delivery.
Our clinicians currently provide the following in-home therapeutic services:
