Alexa earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Linguistics from West Chester University in West Chester, Pennsylvania, and her Master’s in Speech Language Pathology from The University of Louisiana at Lafayette in Lafayette, Louisiana. Alexa is licensed to practice in both North Carolina and Maryland.
Alexa developed her experience by serving in several varying treatment environments, including skilled nursing facilities, inpatient rehabilitation centers, pediatric private practices, and schools including patients ranging in age from pre-kindergarten to high school. Alexa also specializes in teletherapy services. Alexa specifically enjoys working with pediatric patients in the areas of expressive and receptive language therapy, pragmatic language therapy, articulation therapy, and fluency therapy.
Outside of work, Alexa enjoys spending time by the water, traveling, being outdoors, and playing with her two pups!
