Dexter was born and raised in Greenville, North Carolina. He graduated from Pitt Community College with his associate’s degree in occupational therapy assistantship and enjoys practicing the broad range of therapeutic methods that occupational therapists have at their disposal to help their clients, particularly for the pediatric population.
Prior to becoming a COTA, Dexter worked as a mental health technician for ECU Health Medical Center, providing direct care to a large number of patients with variable clinical presentations. As a COTA with Carolina Therapeutics, PLLC, Dexter’s passion is seeing his patients grow and achieve their goals through research-driven occupational therapy techniques.
When he’s not giving back to his community by providing the very best in occupational therapy services to Greenville, NC, Dexter enjoys spending time with his friends and family.
