Emily Bishop
MSOT, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist
Emily grew up in the Midwest, but the South has been her home since she moved here as a teenager. She completed her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology at North Greenville University. She then went on to earn her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at Lenoir-Rhyne University. Through her clinical rotations, Emily gained experience working with both pediatric and adult populations in a variety of therapy settings.
Following graduation, she moved back to Greenville, SC, to begin her career as an occupational therapist. Emily has always had a passion for working with the pediatric population, and has experience working with patients who have autism spectrum disorder, down syndrome, developmental delay, sensory processing disorder, cerebral palsy, and spinal cord injuries. She enjoys collaborating with families and getting creative during sessions in order to keep therapy client-centered and she strives to promote positive interactions that will foster independence and meaningful participation in the lives of her patients.
When she isn’t working, Emily enjoys being active, spending time on the lake, making memories with friends and family, and helping out with her brother’s nonprofit organization.
