Janene Merrell

Speech Language Pathologist
Janene is a dual-licensed and certified speech-language pathologist with over 19 years of experience. She earned her Master’s degree from Hunter College in New York and has worked in both clinical and home-based settings.
Janene specializes in early childhood working with a variety of neurological and developmental delays and disorders, including children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS). She is PROMPT-trained (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets) and provides family training to foster families’ abilities to implement and successfully apply learned strategies and techniques for ongoing progress.
