After years of working in the restaurant industry, Khalia enjoyed an internship experience at Discovery Place Kids, where she found her passion for working with children with special needs.
She subsequently discovered the world of ABA Therapy and began working as a registered behavior technician to fuel her passion for helping children and has loved every step along the way. Khalia prides herself in providing strong customer service, possessing excellent communication skills, maintaining positive relationships, collaborating and problem-solving, and providing the very best data-driven/results-oriented ABA Therapy services possible to enhance positive behaviors in children.
In her free time, she likes to spend time with her fur baby Benji, who’s a cute miniature dachshund, as well as her family and friends. She also enjoys traveling with her boyfriend and exploring new places, cultures, and trying different types of foods. Her hobbies include painting, drawing, being crafty, singing, and dancing!
