Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Kiersten earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia. After graduating, Kiersten began working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and quickly discovered her passion for ABA Therapy.
Kiersten later decided to further her education in the field and earned her master’s degree in Special Education as well as her graduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from George Mason University.
Kiersten has since gained many years of experience as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), during which she has provided significant behavioral health support for children on the autism spectrum. As a BCBA with Carolina Therapeutics, Kiersten manages a team of passionate RBTs in the Outer Banks of North Carolina where she empowers both children and families through the use of evidence-based behavior strategies and interventions.
