Nicole Pytlinski
M.S., OTR/L
Occupational Therapist
Nicole was born and raised in sunny southern California, where she received her undergraduate degree in Child and Adolescent Development. She has always enjoyed spending time with children, and throughout college she worked as a preschool teacher, substitute teacher, and respite care provider for children with special needs. Nicole also lived abroad for 3 months in Uganda, interning at a children’s home for children with severe disabilities.
Nicole and her husband later moved to the outskirts of Philadelphia so she could attend graduate school at Salus University where she earned her Masters in Occupational Therapy. As a student, Nicole further expanded her knowledge of working with the pediatric population by gaining hands-on experience treating clients with a variety of diagnoses during her fieldwork rotations, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), sensory processing disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), traumatic brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries. When she’s able, Nicole particularly enjoys incorporating nature into her therapy sessions, as she believes using nature in combination with a client’s natural learning environment can meaningfully enhance therapeutic outcomes.
When she is not providing occupational therapy services, you can find Nicole crafting, reading, or thrifting, though her favorite occupation of all is being a wife and mom to her son, Samuel.
