Sara Williams

Physical Therapist
Sara was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Michigan State University and worked as a PT technician for 4 years before packing up and moving away from the cold as she continued her studies in North Carolina.
Sara earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Duke University and has more than8 years of experience working with the pediatric population, including in ABA therapy, respite care, and youth counselor settings.
She has experience working with both children and adults with a wide range of neurological and orthopedic conditions. Sara has worked in multiple clinical settings, including the ICU, acute care environments, inpatient rehab facilities, and outpatient clinics.
Sara looks forward to continuing her growth within the outpatient pediatric setting as she helps her patients and families maximize their function and reach their goals. While not working, Sara enjoys taking long walks along the beach, hiking up a mountain side, finishing a DIY project, reading self-improvement books, and laughing to quality stand-up comedy.
