Shelby Mazzone

Occupational Therapist
Shelby is originally from Long Island, NY. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Villanova University and her master’s degree in occupational therapy from Stony Brook University. After graduation, she started her occupational therapy career working in an outpatient pediatric clinic in the Washington, D.C. metro area before moving to the Charlotte area.
Shelby has always enjoyed working with the pediatric population. She has a wide range of experiences working with patients who have a variety of diagnoses, including autism spectrum disorder, down syndrome, developmental delay, sensory processing disorder, and cerebral palsy. Shelby is passionate about working with children with emotional regulation challenges and strives to help them develop effective coping strategies.
When she isn’t working, Shelby enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, and traveling!
